AFL football game! It was the West Coast Eagles home opener against Port Adelaide (who sucks). It was about 28 degrees out and we were in the sun the whole time..it got hot. The Eagles were awesome, they won 125-75.
The playing field (as pictured on the right), which may be approximately 150m (or more) long goal to goal and approximately 135 m (or more) wide is HUGE. You can see curvature of the earth the thing is so long, and these guys (or should I say machines) do run from end to end. An American football field is 109.7 m × 48.8 m...pfh...

Mark -> The key play of the game. If a player takes possession of the ball that has travelled more than 15 metres from another player's kick, by way of a catch, they get a free kick if they choose.
